Students will be provided the opportunity to receive Credit by Demonstrated Mastery three times per year (summer, fall, and spring). The timeline information below will help students and their parents plan for the CDM process.

Spring 2016 Timeline :

  • January 19, 2016: Parents and students will be informed of the CDM timeline for summer.
  • January 27, 2016: Student applications are due. (Turn in to counselors, and counselors forward to Heather Mullins.)
  • February 8, 2016: Students take Phase I Assessments. Students will report to one designated location for testing (location TBD).
  • February 24, 2016: Parents and students will be notified of Phase I results. Schedule Phase 2 artifact work for students who achieve the required standard on Phase I assessment.
  • March 25, 2016: Phase 2 artifacts due.
  • April 4-8, 2016: Conduct school-level artifact review (Student Review Panel).
  • April 12, 2016: Provide results to students/families, provide an appeals process, and share results.

  • September 2, 2016: Phase 2 artifacts due.
  • September 6-9, 2016: Conduct school-level artifact review (Student Review Panel).
  • September 13, 2016: Provide results to students/families, provide an appeals process, share results, and amend fall schedules.


Fall 2015 Timeline:

  • August 25, 2015: Parents and students will be informed of the CDM timeline for fall.
  • September 4, 2015: Student applications are due. (Turn in to counselors, and counselors forward to Heather Mullins.)
  • September 13, 2015: Students take Phase I Assessments. Students will report to one designated location for testing (location TBD).
  • October 1, 2015: Parents and students will be notified of Phase I.
  • October 1, 2015: Schedule Phase 2 artifact work for students who achieve the required standard on Phase I assessment
  • October 30, 2015: Phase 2 artifacts due.
  • November 3-4, 2015: Conduct school-level artifact review (Student Review Panel).
  • November 6, 2015: Provide results to students/families, provide an appeals process, share results, amend spring semester schedules.
  • TBD: Parents and students will be notified of Phase I results for English II, and a timeline will be set for completing Phase II.
